Ingredients
•1 pita bread (I used whole wheat)
•2 tbsp. olive oil
•Toppings of choice (marinara sauce, arugula, pecorino cheese and capers pictured)
Method
Preheat over to 400 degrees F. Brush both sides of pita with olive oil and bake on baking sheet or pizza pan for approximately 15 minutes, turning once.
Top with desired toppings and return to oven until you are happy with your little pitza. I added the arugula, cheese and capers after baking, and it came out tasting fresh as a daisy!
